Alright, hands up for Microsoft’s new campaign to give people a reason to download IE8? Not many from people I’ve talked to, although there’s little incentive for other nationalities.

Internet Explorer is basically offering a little package where you can upgrade your mom & dad’s old out-dated IE6, and in return Microsoft will donate 16 meals to starving Americans (hopefully quality food, I don’t know if you know what’s in the average burger…) and if you simply download it standalone they donate 8 meals to starving Americans. Looks like IE6 is even shunned by its father,  it’s that bad.

So if you mom, dad, sister, uncles and aunts, (grandparents?) use IE6, it’s time to get them to upgrade. You’ll feel extra safe knowing that you’re supporting a good cause.

Microsoft Implement Web 2.0 Sharing
Nice, microsoft… Web 2.0 Sharing.
