While strictly speaking it’s not nudity; as we should all know that the Apple Store are strictly imageagainst iPhone/iPod Porn Apps, it would seem a new kind of Adult App is under review, one   that strikes a bit strange. It’s called Otakulous.

The Japanese drawn pornography, otherwise known as hentai, is one of the stranger aspects of this world. While the application says it will contain no nudity, it still contains image of drawn girls parading around in bikinis and panties.

If content like this gets allowed into the Apple Store, perhaps it’s time for Apple to review their strict rules against mature content. If drawn porn is acceptable, surely standard porn is too?

At the moment, Otakulous is a simple image gallery – that is, users can view, download, or add images to their favourites.

Their rules claim “only softcore – no hardcore!” and “no nudity only sexy (lingerie, bikini, underwear).”

My comment? Whatever floats your boat.

Heh, can't say I disagree with it. TBH, they probably made a decent bundle on that app. Plus, they didn't actually violate Apple's rules here. Question is, is Apple against real softcore porn?
