‘Attack of the Phones’ – Verizon Holiday Ads

image A festive attack from Verizon this Christmas – not only are they retaliating over the lawsuit proposed by AT&T for their ‘biased’ advertising showing 5x more coverage, but they’re making a stab at the iPhone — seemingly strange, pushing rumors about the iPhone coming to Verizon slim – albeit not gone, however. It seems strange that this entire tiff over their 3G coverage has been taking so far – however, it could just be ‘ole Verizon having a laugh at AT&T. We’ll have to see, anyway, whether Verizon get the iPhone next year.

No Data. It’s kind of strange to realize the commotion that is caused by the loss of a feature that a mobile phone perhaps shouldn’t even possess in the first place.

But what is it? Why is it down? T-Mobile haven’t released any information about the data outage that has been around since evening on Thursday. People are clinging onto strings that it could be about T-Mobile preparing for the iPhone, while others claim it’s a simple data error.

The HTC Hero is undoubtedly the Andriod phone we were all expecting. First came the T-Mobile G1 with its giant chin and very utilitarian profile; competent but only really an early adopter’s toy. HTC went back to the drawing board and the HTC Magic was born, gone was the physical keyboard which some people felt made the G1, but in its place was a much more 21st century look and a less protruding chin.
