PayPal 2.0 mobile App

Within 3 weeks of release, the PayPal 2.0 app for iPhone had been downloaded over 1 million times.  Released on iTunes March 15th PayPal has introduced a clever new feature allowing you to bump money to friends.  PayPal worked with the creators of the Bump iPhone app to develop the system of sending money faster and more enjoyable.  Along with other new features like a tip calculator and the ability to transfer money from PayPal to your bank account.

The developers at PayPal have been directing more attention towards mobile technology.  Since November of 2009 developers have had access to the PayPal X Developers Network, allowing integration of PayPal into web and mobile applications.
