Calvin Harris has been accused of 'spotlight hogging'.

Calvin Harris, accused of 'spotlight hogging'.

UPDATE: Video added. Vague, but legible.

Calvin Harris, today, stormed onto stage during John & Edward’s song with a Pineapple attached to his head. It’s now a Twitter Trending Topic.

The star, 29, has a recent reputation for living for the spotlight and the attention, rather than the thrill of pleasing fans. However, on tonights X-Factor, he paraded onto the stage with a pineapple on his head (previously posted to his twitter feed) and hugged John, chanting for his pineapple, then running offstage, slapping the boys on the way out. This has been met with heavy criticism already, especially from Louie Walsh, who applauded the twins on keeping their cool and continuing singing.

Calvin Harris was meant to take part in The Xtra Factor, but has been thrown off due to this nights antics.

The sensation has already become a Trending Topic, with both Calvin Harris and Jedward trending. Some people claim this as a publicity move by Harris and the X-Factor show, as an attempt to become a viral sensation. People are already rapidly trying to find quality clips on YouTube.

The X-Factor continues tomorrow night, at 8pm on ITV1. Tune in!

Update: Video. It’s not fantastic, but I’ll update later with a better one if possible.
